PINOYHAVEN RULES and TERMS OF SERVICE

Just a few things before entering PinoyHaven Social Network.

Becoming a member here at PinoyHaven is free and easy.

We however have a few basic and very simple rules we ask of each member to follow.

REGISTRATION and TERMINATION of ACCOUNT

Registering to become a member of our site is your explicit acknowledgement that you agree and will abide by our rules.

MEMBERSHIP here is not a right but a PRIVILEGE. Please treat your privilege seriously.

Unfortunately we do not Terminate any accounts if this is based on request.

PROPER CONDUCT

All posts must be civil, friendly, and not contain any profanity or references to profanity. In defining "safe and fun," you specifically agree that:

+ Use of vulgar, lewd, crude, or offensive language in English, Tagalog, or any other language is prohibited;

+ Personal attacks are prohibited. Use of the board including email and private messaging feature to launch personal attacks is prohibited;

+ Trolling or baiting someone into an argument is prohibited;

+ "Stalk" or otherwise harass anyone is prohibited;

+ Posting offensive images is prohibited;

+ In a manner that is misleading, deceptive or fraudulent or otherwise illegal or promotes illegal activities, including engaging or otherwise obtaining financial or other personal information in a misleading manner or for fraudulent or misleading purposes;

+ In a manner that is libelous or defamatory, or in a way that is otherwise threatening, abusive, violent, harassing, malicious or harmful to any person or entity, or invasive of another's privacy;

+ In a manner that is harmful to minors in any way;

+ In a manner that is hateful or discriminatory based on race, color, sex, religion, nationality, ethnic or national origin, marital status, disability, sexual orientation or age or is otherwise objectionable, as reasonably determined by Ning; and by PinoyHaven;

Additionally, you agree not to:

+ Post any Content that Ning determines constitutes pornography or is adult in nature. Ning’s current policy on what is considered adult is located below our site and is subject to change.

+ Use any profanity or the description or name of any illegal activity within PinoyHaven.

Moderators have a free reign here. They have the right to delete any objectionable posts. Repeat offenders will be banned.

PinoyHaven will remove any objectionable messages immediately upon being contacted concerning objectionable material. We reserve the right to delete any message for any reason.

We believe in freedom of expression and that is what PinoyHaven is offering you. However we have rules and they must be honored.

This is a family-oriented Social Network and we want to keep it that way.

PRIVACY

PinoyHaven does not or will not reveal, misuse, or abuse any private information from our members.

AVATAR and PROFILE CONTENT

I do not have any problem with member's personal choice of avatar.

Your profile content must not contain any explicit, nudity or sexual act graphics. No hatred to other members within PinoyHaven or advertisement. Otherwise everything else is fine.

Your profile name can be change at any time and as often as you like. Make sure it is unique and it is not offensive.

FORUM - ADDING DISCUSSION

When creating a new discussion please make sure that you browse around all the active discussion in the forum before adding a new thread. You have to make sure that it belongs to that category and we don't have to keep moving it for you.

A BANNED MEMBER

A banned member will take up to 3 Months and after the 3 Months period, you will be reactivated back as a member.

Other possible banned member is when you FLOOD an ADVERTISEMENT in any and or all Member's comment box. This is very untidy and unacceptable. We have an Advertisement section in the forum at the very end page, kindly please share there if you don't want to be banned indifinately.

DISCLAIMER

Considering the real-time nature of this social network, it is impossible for us to review messages or confirm the validity of information posted. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the contents of and are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.

We however have the rights to delete and or banned any members who misuse our network.

Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by private message, yahoo messenger (only for support) or email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this PinoyHaven Social Network to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by PinoyHaven.

Although PinoyHaven does not and cannot review the messages posted and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we at PinoyHaven reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless to PinoyHaven and Ning.com and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

We at PinoyHaven also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

PinoyHaven is oblige to any Content that you submit to our Social Network or the Ning Platform, either as a Ning Member, any content includes the name, logo, trademark, brand features and other Content that had caused any violations that you have shared to PinoyHaven.
